The ordinary is surreal.

We, as humans, strive to visually distort the world around us. Yet we are so used to this synthetic reality, that we overlook how unordinary and obscure it often is. Our senses do not register the physical chaos and confusion that we constructed. Through architecture, manufacture, and craftsmanship we create scale, angles, reflections, overlays where they didn't exist. In my work I explore how surreal our life really is when captured as a moment in time by a photograph.
